Luxembourg Team Celebrates Class Victory at the Nürburgring 24h Race with 48Losch Motorsport by BLACK FALCON

141 laps of 25.378 km each, a multi-hour power outage, and numerous Code 60 phases couldn’t stop the 48Losch Motorsport by BLACK FALCON team: The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup secured the class victory in the PETN Cup (Pro) category from pole position and finished 11th overall at this year’s Nürburgring 24h race. Unfortunately, the Porsche #48 from the BLACK FALCON Team EAE, also supported by Losch, had bad luck and had to retire early. Out of the three Bioconcept cars from Four Motors, which Losch supports as part of its sustainability program, only two crossed the finish line after 24 hours.

On Saturday at 4 p.m., 134 vehicles took the start under high summer temperatures reaching up to 30°C during the day and cockpit temperatures soaring to 70°C at times. The event was marked by a multi-hour power outage on the track and numerous Code 60 periods during the 53rd Nürburgring 24h race. In the end, only 88 cars made it to the checkered flag. Around 280,000 fans contributed to a new attendance record.

Class Win for Porsche #948
After qualifying, 48Losch Motorsport by BLACK FALCON secured pole position in the PETN Cup (Pro) class with their Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, car number #948.
Luxembourg drivers Carlos Rivas and Dylan Pereira—who raced for the team at the 24h for the first time—shared the cockpit with Germans Tobias Müller and Noah Nagelsdiek. From the start, the pace was right, and the Porsche was perfectly adapted to the heat. Thanks to a flawless strategy and error-free driving, the Luxembourg team took the class win and 11th overall, making them the best non-SP9 car in the field.

Mixed Weekend for Porsche #48
The Losch-supported Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) of the BLACK FALCON Team EAE, car number 48, competing in the SP9 PRO-AM class, had a tough qualifying session after a tire failure caused it to go off track. Thanks to the hard work of the mechanics, the car still started the race from a respectable eighth place. The international driver lineup of Daan Arrow (NL), Ben Bünnagel (DE), Mustafa Mehmet Kaya (TR), and Gabriele Piana (CH) delivered a solid performance but had to retire in the final third of the race following repairs and another tire failure.

Two of the three Bioconcept cars from Four Motors reached the finish
Since last season, Losch has been supporting the green motorsport pioneers Four Motors, who have been using alternative technologies in their Bioconcept cars for over 20 years. This year’s 24h race featured all three Bioconcept cars competing in the alternative fuel class (AT), which was split into AT2 and AT3 due to the high number of participants.

The Porsche 911 GT2 Cup (992), car #320, driven by Smudo (DE), Peter Bonk (DE), Michelle Halder (DE), and Marco van Ramshorst (NL), started third in the AT2 class. Despite a nighttime time penalty, the crew delivered a solid race to finish third in their class.

The second Bioconcept car, a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport (982), car #420, started sixth in the AT3 class. Experienced drivers Marc Schöni (CH), Henning Cramer (DE), Oliver Sprungmann (DE), and Christoph Hewer (DE) drove a strong race, ultimately securing second place in their class.

In the third Bioconcept car, also a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport (982), twins Alesia and Jacqueline Kreutzpointer (DE) teamed up with Borisch Hrubesch (CH) and Luka Wlömer (DE). The quartet qualified fifth in the AT3 class. The race for car #633 was incident-free until the early morning hours when a technical issue forced the Porsche to retire.

Looking Ahead: What’s Next
On August 16th, Losch will continue competing with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup #948 from 48Losch Motorsport by BLACK FALCON and the Losch-supported Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) of the BLACK FALCON Team EAE, car #48, in the sixth round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS).

Driver Quotes from 48Losch Motorsport by BLACK FALCON

  • Dylan Pereira
“First of all, I’m very happy to have finally worked with Losch and BLACK FALCON, and that we could make history as a Luxembourg team. The weekend started very well. In Qualifying 1, we had immediate pace, and the car was flawless. We then just adapted it to the hot conditions, which worked really well. We had a strong pace from the start and drove without mistakes. The team did an amazing job. I’m super happy with the weekend.”
  • Carlos Rivas
“The Nürburgring 24h race is one of the most beautiful and important races out there. That alone is a highlight. The heat this year was exceptional, but we handled the situation well as a team.”
  • Tobias Müller
“After the disappointing 24h race last time, it’s a huge relief to now celebrate this victory together. It was a very tough race, so it’s even more meaningful that we could win it.”
  • Noah Nagelsdiek
“The 24h race is something very special. The biggest challenge compared to an NLS race is staying focused for the entire 24 hours, even with very few rest breaks. Driving at night is always unique—you have limited visibility and need to adapt to changing light conditions, especially when transitioning back to daytime. It takes some getting used to. Experience from previous years helps a lot, and all my teammates have done many 24h races. Ultimately, that’s what led to our success.”
