A unique piece for the 75th anniversary
The Porsche Legacy Luxembourg was specially created for the 75th anniversary of Porsche Luxembourg.
This vehicle is not a production model, but a unique piece, made to celebrate this exceptional event.
The objective was to design a vehicle that would highlight the link between Luxembourg, Porsche and exceptional craftsmanship.
Design and concept: a common vision
The design and overall concept of the Porsche Legacy Luxembourg were defined and developed jointly by Jacques Schneider and Porsche Luxembourg.
On this basis, the project was carried out in close cooperation with Porsche and the Sonderwunsch department.
While Jacques Schneider brought his artistic signature and creative ideas, Porsche Luxembourg and the experts of the Sonderwunsch program ensured that this vision was implemented with technical and artisanal perfection.
Hand-painted lions as a central design element
-
Design Elements
One of the most striking elements is the presence of hand-painted lions.
-
Symbolism and Identity
The lions symbolize strength, identity, and Luxembourg's national pride.
-
Artistic Transformation
Each lion has been hand-painted to transform the vehicle into a true work of art.
Total consistency in the cabin
The lion motif is also found consistently inside the vehicle. Embroidered lions are present:
• on the seats
• in the centre console
• on the side trim strips
These details illustrate how carefully the design has been thought out down to the smallest elements.
Luxembourg above passengers
The vehicle's headliner presents the silhouette of Luxembourg's territory, in which the beginning of the Luxembourg national anthem is integrated.
This detail gives the interior a strong emotional dimension and underlines the close connection to the country.
Anniversary details and commemorative plaques
Inside, a plaque highlights the 75th anniversary of Porsche Luxembourg.
On the outside, another plaque bears the inscription "Lëtzebuerg Legacy 75 Joer".
In addition, the number 75 is integrated into the front grille, making the anniversary character of the vehicle immediately visible.
Another striking detail is the door sill trims, which bear the inscription "Porsche Lëtzebuerg", once again demonstrating the attention to detail.
The Base: Porsche 911 GT3 Touring (992.2)
The project is based on the latest version of the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring (992.2).
The Touring version was chosen deliberately, as it is distinguished by the absence of the imposing rear wing present on the classic GT3.
This sleeker aesthetic harmonizes perfectly with the elegant and artistic design of the Porsche Legacy Luxembourg.
International recognition
Porsche has introduced the Porsche Legacy Luxembourg on its official social media channels.
The feedback has been exceptionally positive, giving the vehicle considerable international visibility.
This has led to the model becoming very popular, both in Europe and globally.
The know-how of the Sonderwunsch department
The Porsche Legacy Luxembourg impressively illustrates the level of excellence achieved by Porsche's Sonderwunsch department.
The perfect implementation of the designs designed by Jacques Schneider and Porsche Luxembourg once again demonstrates the exceptional precision and know-how of the employees involved.
A rolling legacy
The Porsche Legacy Luxembourg is much more than a car. It represents 75 years of Porsche Luxembourg, a strong expression of identity and a unique symbiosis between art and technology.
This model remains a rolling heritage, illustrating how emotional, meaningful and timeless automotive design can be.
